PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- After being wounded in Iraq, Senior Airman Diane Lopes was wheeled into Walter Reed Army Medical Center facing a real possibility she may never walk again. Now, a month after leaving Walter Reed and her wheelchair behind, Airman Lopes took a few steps up. First, she stood before her peers at a 920th Rescue Wing commander's call.
