KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. - Air Force Reservists from the 920th Rescue Wing based at Patrick Air Force, Fla. were among a professional lineup of aerial acts that drew approximately 20,000 to the Space Coast Nov. 7-9. It was the 2nd Annual Space and Air Show at Kennedy Space Center. The Reserve Airmen demonstrated an astronaut recovery mission. Shown here, a downed astronaut gets rescued by Rescue Wing Airmen who rush to the scene in their HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter. Pararescuemen hoist the astronaut to safety.
