Florida Leaders Visit Air Force Academy
The Air Force Reserve's 920th Rescue Wing Commander, Col. Steve Kirkpatrick, hosted a group of 27 Florida civic leaders on a trip to Colorado Springs, Colorado Oct. 16-17. During the trip, the leaders had the opportunity to learn about several Air Force Reserve missions to include the modular airborne fire fighting mission that is performed 100 percent by Reserve Airmen. They also got a look at the Reserve's first and only space wing, the 310th. On the second day of the tour they were treated to an in-depth look at life at the U.S. Air Force Academy and took some time after a tour of the Academy Chapel to pose for this photo.
