IED damage

This Humvee drove over a pressure-plated improvised explosive device in Iraq March 19, 2005, with four Airmen inside. The IED detonated underneath the left front tire, blowing up the engine and hurling the vehicle and its passengers, including Tech. Sgt. Kellen Grogan, 10 feet in the air and 15 feet forward. All passengers survived the explosion. (courtesy photo)
