920th MXS members deploy
Members of the 920th Rescue Wing Maintenance Squadron prepare to deploy on July 23, 2014 at Patrick Air Force Base, Fla. Airmen say goodbye to friends and family before departing on a C-5 Galaxy to aid the search and rescue mission in the horn of Africa region. The 920th RQW performs combat search and rescue as its primary mission, which includes rescuing downed pilots. Additionally the 920th RQW is responsible for civil search and rescue, humanitarian relief and support of rocket launches.
