PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Reservists from the 920th Rescue Wing provided range clearance and safety support for a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket, which lifted off successfully from Launch Complex 41 at nearby Cape Canaveral Air Force Station at 6:28 a.m. today. Pictured, a string of 14 consecutive images of the launch, stitched together to show the gentle arc the rocket carved on its way to space. Onboard, the Morelos-3 communications satellite for Mexico's Ministry of Communications and Transportation. It was ULA's 100th launch. (U.S. Air Force photo illustration/Master Sgt. Paul Flipse)
