Climbing up

Air Force veteran Stacey Pavenski, 46, of Palm Bay, Florida, is on a journey to bring awareness to PTSD and traumatic brain injury disorders that lead 22 veterans a day to take their own lives. Joining forces with Mission 22, a non-profit organization, she has put together a PTSD 3K walk-run on Florida’s Space Coast during PTSD Awareness Month. Stacey’s PTSD 3K walk-run will take place, Saturday, June 30 at 4 p.m. starting at Tables Beach, a quarter-of-a-mile north of 2nd Light Beach on State Road A1A in Cocoa Beach, Fla., across from Patrick Air Force Base.
