Florida CSAR wing gives employers a lift, inducts honorary commanders

The 920th Rescue Wing at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, inducted 5 honorary commanders from the local community as part of its inaugural Honorary Commander's Association Dec. 1, 2018. The 920th RQW also hosted 60 community leaders for the advent of rides in its Air Force combat-search-and-rescue aircraft during a special day recognizing civilian employers of Reserve Citizen Airmen. After taking command, the five community leaders who were inducted as honorary commanders were also flown locally aboard the wing's aircraft. Both occasions were combined during the December unit training assembly to bolster relations between community leaders, civilian employers and service members.
