Tuskegee Airman properly laid to rest with help of Team Patrick Honor Guard
Ceremonial guardsmen with the Patrick Air Force Base Honor Guard carry the remains of Tuskegee Airman, Edwin Cowan, during a reburial ceremony, Feb. 7, 2019, at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Fla. Cowan who passed away in 2009 without the rendering of military honors, was properly laid to rest alongside his wife for his service during World War II. Nearly 200 people attended the event.
