The 920th Maintenance Group commander passes the 920th Maintenance Squadron guidon to the new 920th MXS commander during an Assumption of Command Ceremony at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida, Feb. 20, 2021. The 920th MXS is the largest squadron within the maintenance group. It provides back of-house maintenance support for both the HH-60 helicopters and the HC-130J Combat King II, both with their own challenges. Fabrication, aerospace ground equipment, avionics, emissions, structural repair, HH-60 phase and HC-130 isoprep inspection, are among the many tasks the squadron is responsible for.
