NASA Emergency Exercise
The 920th Rescue Wing out of Patrick Air Foce Base, Fla. was a big player during a Mode 7 Exercise at Cape Canaveral February 13. The Air Force Reserve rescue crews airlifted Air Force Reserve pararescuemen from the wing's 308th Rescue Squadron as well as NASA emergency firefighters to a remote location on the Cape where the exercise took place. It allowed rescue workers to training in space shuttle egress in the event of a space shuttle Mode 7 emergency.

NASA Emergency Exercise
The Air Force Reserve's 920th Rescue Wing out of Patrick Air Force Base, Fla. responds to a NASA emergency exercise February 13. Rescue crews from the wing's 301st rescue squadron provided the emergency airlift for the Air Force Reserve pararescuemen and the NASA emergency firefighters to a remote location on Cape Canaveral where the exercise took place.
