The 943d Aerospace Medicine Squadron, located at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, is comprised of personnel with a wide variety of medical Air Force Specialty Codes. The 943d AMDS provides flight medical support and medical manpower to accomplish the Reserve Component Physical Health Assessment Process for the wing population to ensure units' medical requirements for deployment are met.

The 943d AMDS deploys combat-ready reservists to provide the personnel and equipment necessary for patient movement required worldwide. The squadron's personnel support worldwide operations, including exercises, humanitarian relief and disaster response operations.
